The Autism Understanding Technological Investigator, or A.U.T.I. for short, is The Faraway CIC's new project to bring well-researched autism facts to the general public in one easy-to-navigate page.
The autistic community has long suffered from a lot of misunderstandings, misinformation and blatant myths that often paint neurodiversity with a very broad brush.
All of Auti's answers come from a range of experts by experience and have reliable sources to back them.
The Ask Auti project aims to bring facts and dispel falsehoods about autism to professionals in medicine, autistic people, employers, parents, carers and anyone simply looking for answers.
When asked about the Ask Auti project, Auti said:
"When it comes to misinformation, it can take just one lie that gets out of hand to create a damaging affect on something. The only way to combat misinformation is to bring facts to the forefront!"
